2014 NKY Leadercast Conference

 

I recently attended the 2014 Leadercast event here in NKY at the METS Center. Leadercast is a one-day leadership event broadcast live from Atlanta to hundreds of locations around the world.

This all day event was attended by over 125,000 people in 21 Countries. The theme was to live a Beyond You Life. Leaders from all around the globe spoke from the heart sharing their experience and tips on living outside the box.

As an ambassador for Chick-fil-A, I was invited to attend the 2014 Leadercast Conference and let me tell you that I had a wonderful time. Of course since CFA was catering the event you can bet the food was awesome!

Candy Craze had a candy buffet after lunch that just ROCKED the afternoon for us!

I have to say that Archbishop Desmond Tutu was my favorite speaker. His laughter is so precious. You can’t help but open your heart to his words of wisdom when he shares so openly. His daughter provided a sweet introduction stressing how important it is to show respect to everyone, including those that work in the back ground… Stressing we are not alone in this world. We need each other and we need to show that we care!

For me the takeaway was that we need to train those coming along to not only replace us, but to surpass us in knowledge and skill.
