3 Ingredient Plum Jam
Time to use up those plums.. this is just too simple and too good to be low calorie!
Ingredients:
2 Ripe Plums
3-4 Tablespoons Agave Nectar* (to taste)
2 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
Directions:
1. Core, peel and dice plums (I like to leave the skins on)
2. Place plums in Food Processor and pulse until finely chopped (again your choice on consistency) – press any larger pieces down along the sides
3. Add in Agave Nectar and Chia Seeds – pulse just to mix
4. Place in jars and store in fridge for 2-3 weeks
That’s It! The jam will gel up as the seeds swell. It is best is made the night before.
If you want to store the jam for a longer period, please refer to the “bath canning” method to seal the jars.
*Honey can be used in the place of Agave Nectar. *Splenda can be added if plums are too tart.
