A is for Awesome….

While working on my word that starts with the letter A for this new round of blogging through the alphabet a song seemed to be playing everywhere I turned. A sign? Perhaps. Or maybe just because it is so true; Our God is Awesome!

So my word this week is Awesome. This word means “inspiring an overwhelming feeling of reverence or admiration”. When I think of this word I think of wanting to raise my fist and shout YES from the rooftops.

Yes! Our God is Awesome… It is through His Son that we have the hope of eternity. With Easter coming up soon, I get emotional thinking about the price that was paid for my sins. Christ paid the price for all of our sin. How Awesome is that! Because He didn’t want me to remain separated from Him, my debt was paid. God has made a way for me to be with Him in paradise.

We have a choice. We can accept the amazing gift of salvation through Christ or we can close our hearts and live in this world. Accept salvation friends; accept the gift of eternal life through Christ.

This is the song that was playing everywhere I turned this week. It is one of my favorites to hum as I go about my day or when I need a pick me up.

Our God is an awesome God
