It allows you to focus on something creative…you choose the colors…you choose the page…you choose the time but yet there is the structure of the outline that eliminates the pressure to decide what to do. It also has the benefit of continuing to strengthen fine motor skills that begin to falter with age. In a world that is always on the go a few minutes of quiet time is refreshing to anyone and even as adults there is something rewarding when we are able to complete a project, even if it is a small accomplishment in the eyes of others.
