Baked Brie Pockets

Baked Brie Pockets

Baked Brie Pockets

If you like hot salty sweet treats, this is one for you to try at home. The type of preserves doesn't matter so make them from what you have on hand. This is one of the easiest “fancy” dessert you can make!

Baked Brie Pockets

Ingredients:

1 wheel Brie, sliced into 2″ pieces
1 tube (8 ct.) crescent rolls
1/4 cup preserves (your choice)

Baked Brie Pockets

Directions:

Unroll your crescent rolls
Combine 2 pieces so you have a rectangle (press seams to seal)
Slice triangle in half (you will have 2 squares)
Place a square of dough on plate, add brie and a spoonful of preserves in the middle
Fold over the dough and crimp (press around the edge with a fork) making sure to seal the edges well (or it will leak – which is ok but messy)
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until the tops are golden brown

** You can make these without the preserves. The preserves just add a sweetness that goes well with the brie cheese.

Ok, I’m going to have to show this to my sister, she LOVES brie and preserves… I don’t like brie, I’m weird. hehe. She likes to do the brie-pie crust-preserves thing for when she goes places and is supposed to bring a dish.
    Actually, I’ll pinterest-pin it also.

I can make these smaller and they will be great appetizers, too! Or even use phyllo instead of the dough. What a great recipe! Thanks!

I have the rolls and some peach preserves, but I’ll have to pick up some Brie when I go to the store. Yum! Thanks.

This looks so delicious, I eat bree here and there but I have never made it. I will have to make these and maybe even make this a go to when bringing something over to a friends or family get togethers.

This one doesn’t get much easier. Another super easy way to fix it is to use a Brie Wheel and a sheet of puff pastry or pie shell. Lay out the pastry/shell, place Brie wheel in center (I like to peel the wheel before baking), pull up pastry/shell around wheel and press to seal. Flip it over so seams are on bottom and bake @ 350 on cookie sheet until pastry/shell is done. Makes a wonderful pie!

This recipe seems easy enough for even me to make. I’m going to Pin it for later. Thanks for posting! By the way, under “directions” in the third sentence, shouldn’t the word “triangle” be replaced with “rectangle”? Just thought you might want to know… Unless I am reading it wrong…

Loved this recipe. So easy and totally comes off as a fancy dessert! Plus you can fill it with a variety of flavors. Just make sure you keep them straight since you can’t tell after baking.

Baked brie pockets are going in the recipe file for sure.

I’ve never had brie, but this recipe sounds so simple and delicious that I just might have to finally try it! I love any recipe that uses pre-made crescent dough because it matches my skill level in the kitchen! haha
