Belt Lock Child Safety Lock
Have you ever looked in the rear view mirror to see your toddler climbing out of their car seat? What a shock to the heart! Or if you have strong willed little ones like we do, they want to unbuckle themselves and open the door, often before I am ready for them to get out of the car.
Well, this little contraption called Belt Lock will prevent both of the above from happening. Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. Installation is simple. You just place the Belt Lock over the end of the stationary seat belt (receiver) and slip the tongue of the strap side through the open until it clicks in place. Now little fingers can’t reach over and press on that bright red button beside their car seat!
To remove the safety lock, simply slide your key through the opening to press on the release latch and the seat belt is released.

I like knowing that once I lock the car seat into place, it isn’t going anywhere.
This product does not interfere with the locking system on your car seat. Since this requires the use of a key or other slim item to press the release latch, I would not recommend this for booster type seats or for older children that are in seats that require the release of the seat belt for them to get out of their seat.
