Black and Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

Black and Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

Blueberries are a staple in our house – or I should say in our freezer since the crew eats them all year long right out of the baggies in the freezer! They love them!

Personally, I found this blend a little tart for my taste but that was easily toned down with a little honey for the younger ones and Splenda for myself.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Bolthouse Farms Blue Goodness (you can also use fresh berries but this really makes it easy!)
1/2 banana
1/2 cup Yogurt (any flavor – I like the vanilla with honey)
1/2 cup juice of choice (any type – I like the mixed berry juice)
Optional: Splenda, honey or sweetener if desired

Also you can add a scoop (or 2) of your favorite protein powder and make this into a meal replacement shake.

Directions:
Place all the items in your blender or smoothie machine and let it rip! It really doesn't get any easier. Enjoy!

This recipe is so easy. I love berry smoothies. I think I would add a little bit of fresh lemon juice too.

I love this mixture of black and blueberries. I think I would mix it with cranberry juice too. Thanks for the fun & healthy recipe. 🙂
