Buttered Garlic Croissants

Sadly, I do not have a fantastic bread recipe for rolls. They are almost an afterthought to me when cooking. However, I have found that with just a little tweaking, canned bread will work, and my family loves these buttered garlic croissants!

Ingredients:

  • 2 count of croissants per person (I think there are 8 in the can so we use 3-4 cans)
  • 2 sticks softened butter
  • 2 teaspoons crushed garlic (2 squirts from garlic tube)

Directions:

In a mixing cup or coffee mug, combine butter and garlic until blended.

Roll out croissants.

Spread garlic butter mixture over the croissants (use back of a spoon), roll them as usual.

Place on parchment paper or spray a cookie sheet with non stick oil.

Bake according to package directions for temp and time.

Sprinkle with salt as soon as you remove from oven (sea salt holds up well).

** These are also great with a little cheese sprinkled inside or on top!
