Creamy Artichoke and Spinach Dip

Creamy Artichoke and Spinach Dip

Creamy Artichoke and Spinach Dip

My crew loves dips and spreads but this Creamy Artichoke and Spinach Dip had them eating it as a side dish! They loved it! Super easy to make and packed with flavor. It would make a great dish for any party or fellowship meal.

I like that it can be made ahead and then browned in the oven or placed in a slow cooker to bring up to serving temperature.

Creamy Artichoke and Spinach Dip

Ingredients:

1 Box Frozen Artichokes (or a jar of marinated hearts)
1 Box Frozen Creamy Spinach
1 block Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Romano Cheese
4 Tablespoons Cocktail Sauce
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
4-5 shakes of favorite Hot Sauce (Optional)

Instructions:

Place cream cheese in a flat bottom bowl and allow to soften at room temperature.
Thaw and drain the artichokes and spinach.
Add artichokes and spinach, along with the mayonnaise to the bowl of cream cheese.
Mix well on low with mixer or by hand until combined.
Incorporate the Romano cheese, cocktail sauce and garlic powder to the mix.
Place mixture in a casserole or baking dish
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes, until bubbly and browned.
Serve with pita slices or chips.

If you are making this ahead, store in refrigerator after combining all the items. Place in oven and bake for 45-60 minutes when ready to serve or place in slow cooker on high for 2 hours and then drop to low to keep warm while serving.

This is also one of those dishes that you can make and take easily. It will keep warm in a slow cooker or serving tray. Serve with sliced bread or crackers…or if at my house..a spoon!

What dishes do you like to set out for parties or to make and take to an event? Share below in the comment section, I would love to try some of them here on SimplySherryl.

My family order spinach dip at restaurants all the time. I haven’t tried to make it before and looking forward to trying this recipe.

This tastes so much better than it looks! Can’t get enough of it.
