One of the best ways to reinforce what you are teaching in the home (in Science, History, Bible, and more) is to take a trip to the Creation Museum (located in the Greater Cincinnati area). The Creation Museum presents a unique and unparalleled experience, a walk through time portraying significant, life-altering events from the past, illuminating the effects of biblical history on our present and future world. Be prepared to experience history in a completely unprecedented way. Our state-of-the-art exhibits, Stargazer’s planetarium, life-sized dinosaur animatronics and beautiful outdoor gardens with paved walking trails and petting zoo make this an exciting addition to every homeschool curriculum.
New for 2013! – Dr. Crawley’s Insectorium, Dragon Legends, “Fires in the Sky” Planetarium show (featuring the comet ISON), Verbum Domini, and the largest collection of Zip Lines in the Midwest.

zip lines sound like fun! my family does a lot of field trip type learning – seems like we retain information better when we’re active, so most of our learning takes place when we’re walking trails, biking, throwing a baseball, flying kites

Wish I lived closer. This sounds like lots of fun for all ages. My grandson is homeschooling for the first time this year, and I’ve been telling my daughter-in-law that homeschooling gives you lots of learning options. You don’t just have to do workbooks and textbooks. There are so many ways to get hands on learning. This is a great way for homeschoolers to get out and learn about Creation.

I really want to visit the museum sometime. If I get a chance to visit my relatives in MI I’ll need to include the museum in my agenda.
