Daddy’s Health and Skin Care Product {Review}
I’m so excited that Daddy & Co. has come out with more products! The Dad’s in our lives have loved the scrubs, toys and books, and more. This time we got to try their new line of health and skin care products for babies (and parents, let’s be honest!)
Included in our package was three bottles including their baby shampoo and body wash, the baby lotion and the baby bubble bath. Each of these come in the choices of fragrance free or calming lavender. I think it’s great to offer both options, especially for the small sensitive members of our families.
The first item we tried was the lavender scented baby lotion. Oh my, while I love using it on the little ones especially right after the bath, I was in love with it for myself! It was so luxurious and moisturizing that my dry hands soaked it all in and were still soft and smooth hours later. Even after several hand washings! The scent was faint and soothing, certainly not overpowering. Plus, the lotion is dye free and hypoallergenic which is terrific when it comes to the kids. I need to pick up the travel size for my purse and another for the diaper bag.
The next item we used on the children was the baby shampoo and body wash, again in the calming lavender scent. Mmm, this was great as a head to toe soap for the kids. The scent was a little stronger than the lotion, but it was wonderful to be used at bedtime. Again, this shampoo and wash is also free of dyes and hypoallergenic. This was very gentle on their hair and skin and it rinsed off very easily. I loved snuggling the little guy after his bath (and we used the lotion too).
Finally, the last item was the baby bubble bath in the lavender scent. We only used a little at first, but it went a long way for bubbles for the younger ones. The older children wanted more of course and this was fine for them to use too. Dye free and also hypoallergenic, this was definitely a big hit for bath time! Even when we used it alone without the other two products, it left their skin (and my hands) soft and not dried out like some of those other commercial products we’ve used.
Overall, each product was wonderful on it’s own. Used together, and they were just brilliant. I think these would make great gifts for parents, whether they have infants or toddlers or even just to indulge in for yourself! My family has always been partial to lavender, especially when going through our nighttime routine for bed. So these were perfect to include in the evening rotation for the tub. I personally will pick up a few more to keep us in stock, and with the holidays around the corner, what great gifts they’d make!
