365 Devotions for Young Women
Staying in the Word becomes more important the older we get, and yet the older we get the less time we seem to have to spend digging into the scriptures. Young women start to fell the pressures of life as they venture out on their own, but often fall prey to the world. The Adored: 365 Devotions for Young Women offers a unique way for young ladies to stay in the Word, especially when life pressures start closing in.

In an ever-changing world, we can be certain of one thing: we are beloved by God. Adored: 365 Devotions for Young Women tackles tough topics girls face, from bullying and social media to friendships and dating, all the while showing readers how infinitely precious they are in God’s sight.
Each day features an easy-to-read, relevant devotion paired with a scripture verse and journaling space to help readers reflect on the day’s message. With honest, poignant, and sometimes humorous text, every page will speak to the pressures and changes girls face, giving them real-world applications to find God in their hearts and in their lives. Perfect for everyday use, Adored will resonate with girls searching for truth and guidance. Gift givers will love this highly designed book featuring a beautiful, foiled cover, and two-color interior pages.
This devotional is geared towards young women 13 years and up. It is presented in a clear and concise manner without a lot of extra information or opinions of the author. The verse or verses are presented and then a brief devotional discussion followed by an area to either answer the questions presented or to write out prayers.
This is one of my favorites verses and it speaks so well to the condition of our hearts. We need to be like the deer, panting for the filling water of our Lord.
Another one of my favorite devotions was Day 144: the verse is from 2 Timothy and goes on to speak about our feelings of self worth. “Do you ever take a look at yourself – at all the areas where you feel inadequate or at all the times you’ve failed – and wonder why God would choose you?”
I am so thankful that my feelings of self worth are not why God chose me.
While this devotional shouldn’t be the complete study system, it does offer a way to get into the Word every day. I would encourage you to spend more time reading the scriptures and applying them to your life. I think of these daily devotionals as a thought for the day versus an in depth Bible study.

Artwork on the cover looks very familiar but I can’t place where I’ve seen it or something very similar.
