Dizolve Ultra Laundry Detergent Strips Review

Dizolve Ultra Laundry Detergent Strips Review

Dizolve Ultra Laundry Detergent Strips Review

Laundry is not one of my favorite activities on the list for maintaining a home. It falls in the category of a necessary evil. Because of my dislike for the process, this is one of the first things I delegate to my children. They learn to wash towels first, then the other linens before moving on to jeans. By the time they can handle all the jeans for the house they are usually ready to take on washing their own clothes. Whew… I like that day and make a big production of it. They receive their own laundry basket!….

Recently I was offered a new product to try and offer my opinion based on my experiences. I am all about ways to make laundry easier for my house so I was excited to try this new product.

Here is a little information about Dizolve:

Our patent-pending process packs an incredible amount of intelligent cleaning agents into each tiny, hypoallergenic strip. The smart formulation effectively seeks out and dislodges dirt molecules and stains, keeping them in suspension until they are rinsed away.

Hypoallergenic for sensitive skin – Free of 1,4-dioxane – Phosphate-free – Biodegradable – Safe for septics

The Dizolve product arrived and we quickly opened it. There were (4) four tear away strips on a sheet. One strip is all that is needed for a normal size load of laundry.

Just out of curiosity, I dissolved one of the strips in warm water to see what would happen. It completely dissolved and lathered up nicely. I was able to hand wash a couple of items quite easily. This would be a great product to take on camping trips or to have tucked in a baggie in your diaper bag or purse.

As for daily use, I have washed over 50 loads with the product and feel that it does what it promotes. My clothes are clean. They smell fresh but do not have a perfume scent. I like that my clothes do not have the stiff feeling that comes with using too much soap. I have also found that I do not need to use vinegar in the rinse water, which is a normal procedure in my house.

Overall, I would recommend this product and do plan on continuing to use it myself. Just the convenience of not having to measure soap or use rinse aids makes this a great fit for our house.

Very Very Interesting that it the strip would do this especially seeing that it is not the same amount that you would normally use it is much less. Thank you, Jerri Davis

Boy, would I LOVE to try, and hopefully like, this product. Just the space savings alone would be well worth it to me! My Gain bottles take up some room. (I always buy them on sale and with coupons combined so there is more than one or two to store). No measuring; YAY! No spills; YAY! I must try Dizolve! Thanks for the review and info! BTW, I have a question for you; why would you add vinegar to the rinse cycle? I have not heard of this before. Also, in your first paragraph, second to the last word, did you mean to write “big” instead?

I had to set comments to approved first.. there are just some strange and otherwise not so nice posters in the http://WWW...

Oh, and I add vinegar to the rinse cycle in the place of fabric softener. It works just as well and is a whole lot cheaper.

Thank you for your review on Dizolve Ultra Laundry Detergent Strips. I had not heard about these until I read your article.

I am intrigued with the concept and I’d like to try them in my house! We go through a bunch of soap it seems, between a little guy who gets dirty and changes clothes two times a day most days and my husband’s nursing scrubs.

We have to be careful about our clothes not having that “perfume” scent but you still want them to be clean.

    Thanks again!

I have been making my own laundry soap, but it would be nice to have Dizolve on hand for the times when my husband throws in a load or my daughter comes with her family for a week’s visit. That way, I would not have to explain about the fact that you only need to use a Tbls for a load of clothes in my front loader. All they would have to do is pull of a strip of the Dizolve & I would know that their clothes would be clean & that they didn’t decide to put more detergent in because 1 Tbls does not look like enough.

I already love this product and haven’t tried it. I love that it comes in easy to use strips and has no scent. When my husband does the laundry he uses too much laundry detergent. With the strips there would be no problem for him of using too much.
