Easy 3 Bite Brownies
Are you looking for a small bite of deliciousness topped with a sweet, creamy frosting While enjoying a treat with my little Miss Allie, she reminded me that Valentine’s Day was coming soon and she wanted baby brownies..and would I make her pink baby brownies. “Of course” was my answer as I wondered what baby brownies were!
But with Valentine’s Day coming on quickly, I thought I would share my version of Easy 3 Bite Brownies aka baby brownies. And if brownies are not your favorite Valentine’s Day treat, I am sharing special recipes from several of my blogger friends.
After wondering what Miss Allie meant by asking me to make her baby brownies, she explained that she wanted little brownies that she could share with her friends and babies.
These Easy 3 Bite Brownies meet at least her request for little treats that fit in her hand. Not so sure about sharing them with her babies though.
What I like about these small brownies is how easy they are to make. They are not scratch brownies, but you certainly could whip up a batter from scratch if you are so inclined. I opted for a box batter mix for a quick treat.
How to make these Easy 3 Bite Brownies
Ingredients:
Brownies:
1 package brownie mix (any type – I used Betty Crocker box brownie mix)
Depending on the brand and box size, the following measurements may be different. Check your packaging but most will require these ingredients to prepare.
1/2 Cup vegetable oil
3 Tablespoons water
2 eggs
Frosting:
1 can vanilla frosting
4/5 drops of pink food coloring
Decorations:
Favorite sprinkles or sanding sugar
Directions:
While gathering your ingredients, set the oven to 350°F or warm the Babycakes Cupcake Maker (this little baker unit is way too cool).
If baking in the oven, line two 24-count mini-muffin pan with baking cups.
Prepare the brownie mix according to the directions on the box.
Using a scoop fill the baking cups half way with the prepared brownie mixture.
Bake for 17-20 minutes in the oven or until the buzzer goes off on the Babycakes Cupcake Maker.
Remove brownies from pan and allow to completely cool before frosting or decorating with your favorite candies.
Store brownies in an air tight container, preferably in the refrigerator.
Optional add-ins could be chocolate chips, nuts, candies, or finely chopped dried fruits.
Frosting Tips
If you like the two tone frosting, simply divide the can of vanilla frosting and color half with a few drops of pink food coloring. Then place one of the frostings inside a baggie (or piping bag), making sure to press it to one side of the bag. Add the other frosting to the same bag on the other side. Basically split them in the bag instead of stacking. Seal the baggie and start twisting down from the top of the baggie. Once the frosting starts to move towards the corner of the baggie, cut off the tip of the corner. Make sure to cut off less than you think you should (because you can always cut off a little more but if the opening is too large… you just have a mess). Keep a tight grip on the top of the baggie and continue to twist, pressing the frosting down and out through the hole in the corner. As it comes out, the colors will start to blend where they touch. The two tone frosting can be placed on the top like a kiss, or swirled along the top as you turn the brownie. Don’t fret, it sounds a lot harder than it is. I like using the disposable piping bags. They make clean up faster and the various tips open up the world to decorating.
Isn’t this Valentine’s Day tin so cute?
I can’t wait to give Miss Allie her baby brownies. She is going to love the brownies, but I think the unicorn tin will definitely make her smile.
For me, using my Babycakes Cupcake Maker makes creating little treats fun. They are always cooked perfectly and I can have the little ones help without them being near the oven.
The Babycakes Cupcake Maker bakes 8 mini cupcakes in 5 to 8 minutes. It also bakes other treats like mini pies, pastries, and lots of tiny bite appetizers. The baking plates are non stick so you can bake without using liners. I recommend the mini liners for anything sticky because they make getting the item out easier.
If you are looking for a sweet treat, these 3 bite brownies are perfect. And because they are tiny, the mix makes at least 48 of them! Decorate some and freeze the rest (prior to frosting). Then pull out a few treats and enjoy them anytime.
I hope you found a special treat to make for your Valentine!

The set comes with a little plastic spatula. I just use the liners to make clean up easier.
