Easy Sweet and Sour Sauce

Easy Sweet and Sour Sauce

Easy Sweet and Sour Sauce is great used on Meatballs or as a dipping sauce for just about anything! It is so super simple to make and can be used as a base for several other sauces.

Ingredients:

1 – 14 oz. can of Cranberry Sauce Jelly (not the whole berry)
1 – 12 oz. bottle Chili Sauce
2 – Tablespoons Vinegar
2 – Tablespoons Brown Sugar

Directions:

Combine all and mix well. If using right away, heat until brown sugar is melted as it can be gritty until it has time to dissolve. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

Sounds yum! I wonder if it would work with making cranberry sauce in a pan. I don’t like to use acidic things in cans too often…

Wow, this sounds great. I always make mine using Grape Jelly, but I bet the cranberry sauce would give it a little more kick! Next time I make these, I’m going to try this. Thank you for sharing 🙂

I’ve used this easy Sweet and Sour Sauce for years and my family loves it. Now I’ll use this for the next potluck I go to using Turkey meatballs.
