Frisch’s® New Look and Western BBQ Primetime Burger

Has your local Frisch’s® Big Boy undergone the make over yet? One of ours here in Northern Kentucky just recently reopened after a major make over. We were invited to see the Frisch’s® New Look and Western BBQ Primetime Burgers that they are rolling out this week on their newly revised menu. So many wonderful changes!

These sandwiches are everything you want when you think of barbecue. The sauce, onion rings and bacon give them a flavor we’re sure our customers will enjoy, said Jason Vaughn, Frisch’s® chief executive officer. These sandwiches are a great menu addition and add to an already successful Primetime Burger lineup.

From the Big Boy® image to a new lineup on the menu, Frisch’s® has gone a long way to make dining out as a family fun again.

The new design includes a special area for children that offers a place for them to display their artwork for all to see. I know my little ones will be wanting to see their creations up on the wall.

I love the bright and cheery color theme of the newly designed store. It made me smile as it brought back memories of eating in them from years..okay decades ago. When I was little, the “suspagettie” was my favorite dinner. We used to go out to eat every Friday night. I have such happy memories of the time with my mom and brothers at Frisch’s®.

One thing you will hear that is different when you enter the new Frisch’s®… “Welcome to My Frisch’s®” – Based on thousands of surveys of customers, one thing that was learned was that locals relate to their Frisch’s® and consider it home. The staff will all now greet you with a warm welcome.

Frisch’s® stands behind their mantra that “At Frisch’s® Good Fun happens over Great Food served by Happy Faces“. Dining out with friends and family should be fun with lots of laughs over delicious favorite dishes. Sounds like My Frisch’s® will be our gathering place this summer. Let me tell you about their new menu and their amazing new sandwiches!

Woohoo just check out that new menu! The newest addition is the Western BBQ Primetime Burger and believe me it is one delicious burger. Definitely requires two hands to eat.

Western BBQ Primetime Burger is partnered with both a grilled and a fried chicken version. Something for everyone.

What a sandwich. Grilled chicken on a brioche bun topped with bacon, onion rings and their special BBQ sauce. Those onion rings are massive!

 

And the fried chicken version.. oh my goodness. Fried chicken on a brioche bun topped with bacon, onion rings and their special BBQ sauce makes for one wonderful sandwich.

 

Just look at that burger! Starting with the grilled brioche bun and awesome meat, then topped with cheese, bacon, onion rings and their special BBQ sauce.

We are able to try all three of the Western BBQ Primetime Trio Sandwiches. I would be hard pressed to claim a favorite yet. I want to have several more before I place my vote. I have to say that I am leaning towards the grilled chicken but the burger keeps calling me back for another bite. I will let you know when I make my mind up.

Meet Chef Greg – the creator of the sauce and the new menu items. Chef Greg is proud of the new menu line and happy to share all the changes he has implemented since joining the Frisch’s® team. The first thing he will tell you is that he was quick to get rid of all the preservatives in as many products as possible. He is from the “low and slow” cooking philosophy and believes that great flavor comes from awesome ingredients. He is so proud that their sauces are all homemade and have the best ingredients.

I’m thrilled with how our new barbecue sauce has come together; it has just the right level of spice balanced by a sweetness from our blend of real honey and brown sugar that our customers are sure to enjoy, said Chef Greg Grisanti, director of research and development for Frisch’s®. These are sandwiches our staff can be proud of because not only do they taste great; they’re made with fresh ingredients made every day in our commissary.

The BBQ sauce is awesome! We were able to taste it before placing it on our burgers and oh wow.. just pass the spoon please! Hint…it is delicious on french fries too!

Yum on a plate! I love their french fries. Always hot and crispy.

 

I like the new look and the new menu items. I think Frisch’s® has done a lot to listen to their customers and is working towards providing a great place for families and friends to gather while enjoying awesome food. Way to go Frisch’s®!
