Giblet Gravy

Giblet Gravy

Giblet Gravy

My recipe for giblet gravy is based on using half of the mixture created for my dressing.

Start by making the basic mixture for Simply Delicious Giblet Dressing.

Once you have removed the portion for the dressing, taste the mixture and add salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, etc. as per your preference.

In a small bowl, cream 2 tablespoons of corn starch or flour and 2 tablespoons of butter until smooth. Stir into mixture and continue to stir as the butter melts. This will keep lumps from forming in your gravy and will thicken it up.

Once mixture has thickened, reduce heat as low as possible or remove and place in another container until ready to use. If left on the heat, it will continue to thicken.

Stir before serving. Warm if necessary, adding a little water or broth if too thick.
