HeartfeltBooks.com
Back before Christmas, I mentioned that I like to find unique and personalized gifts for those people in my life who are hard to shop for. This year, I ordered one of the customized books from HeartfeltBooks and wanted to share it with my readers!
Remember my HeartfeltBooks.com review?
I followed the easy steps to create a book as a gift for my grandson. I didn’t want to get him another video game, and his super hero & action hero preferences are usually a mystery to me, so I made him a keepsake book instead.
I picked out the brown leather book with the embossed compass on the front as it seemed to fit his personality the best out of the choices they have available. Plus the inside covers are lined with this rich, copper paper which plays perfect off the rich, off-white colored paper for the book itself.
I answered a few questions about him or us, such as my favorite adventure with him, what my favorite facial expression he makes is, what I would pack if we were going to be deserted on a desert island, etc.
And that was it! I got to see the book laid out on the screen and could instantly make any changes, whether for grammar or page order, or whatever other changes I wanted to complete. I even used a few of the built-in poems and quotes they have available to use to mix it up a little bit.
Then I sent it to be printed and I had the book within a few days! I quickly put it under the Christmas tree and had to wait patiently for him to get to it. LOL!
Being a young man, I can’t say he was overly excited when he first opened the package and found a book. However, once I explained to him that it was a special book, he climbed up on the couch for us to read it together.
And that was the best part. He loved the memories I put into the book, the questions I answered (mostly about him of course) and the little stories I saved for the future, forever captured in this keepsake book. He has since read it several times and it definitely appears to be on it’s way to being a treasured item of his that he’ll keep as he grows up.
I would definitely recommend building a custom book with HeartfeltBooks.com for any occasion, from a marriage proposal, anniversary gift, or just to say thank you or I’m sorry. It would be great for most ages, and both men and women would enjoy getting a book you’ve written about them.
So are you ready for make your first HeartfeltBook yet? Be sure to check them out on HeartfeltBooks.com and connect with them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google+!

What a great idea, to share memories or whatever…I would probably do this with favorite recipes. Thanks for sharing!
