Kitchen Tips for Bacon
Did You Know…….
Bacon will pull apart without tearing or stretching if you will freeze it before using it! Throw it in the freezer until the day before you need it. Move to refrigerator level and let thaw out completely.
Bacon will cook up nice and crisp in the oven? Cooking bacon in the oven prevents splatters, pops and burnt slices! Check out our How to Cook No Mess Bacon cooking directions.
Easily add flavor to other dishes by snipping off the tails on the bacon before cooking. Store in baggie in freezer until needed. Toss a couple of pieces into soups, vegetables and other casseroles.

I feel really silly right now. I have never tried cooking my bacon in the oven. That definitely would cut down on an immense amount of grease splattering everywhere! I suppose the bacon would cook alot more evenly as well. Thank you for this great tip!

There are so many times i could have used this bacon in the oven tip! There are some recipes we like but avoid because cooking the bacon is literally a pain.

These are great tips. I have froze my bacon before, but never cooked it in the oven. I bet cutting off the tips or “ears” as we call them would help it to cook better too. I keep meaning to buy a bacon press, but never get around to it, lol.
