Let the Little Children Come!
When it comes to teaching and talking to kids about faith, keeping their attention can be tricky unless you keep them interested. Typically, this involves both visual stimulation as well as audience participation. Whether I’m teaching Sunday School, Wednesday Night Little Church, or even visiting with the neighborhood kids at a community meal, when you find something that works, you tend to stick with it. Let me tell you about the gospel tracts from Let the Little Children Come.
Let The Little Children Come aims to provide effective gospel tracts and evangelism tools and resources for children. It is the hope that these tools and resources will help you in conveying the powerful gospel message to children. these gospel tracts are all specially designed to capture and hold the attention of children, while not distracting them from the core message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Wonderful tools to use in Sunday School, VBS and outreach programs. Easy for children to understand and talk about to their friends! This sampler pack contains 10 Gospel Tracks and Evangelism tools.
As a parent, I’m all about finding easy ways when it comes to teaching. So finding a sampler pack from Let the Little Children Come that includes several pieces for the children I come in contact with to teach about Jesus Christ is a blessing. Included in each sampler pack are 10 gospel tracks:
- John 3:16 Animated Tract
- Gospel Buttons FlipAbout
- The Most Amazing House Pop-up Tract
- Wordless Bracelet Kit
- The True Story of Christmas Animated Tract
- The Lost Easter Egg Pop-up Tract
- John 3:16 FlipAbout
- Silicone Salvation Bracelet – Medium
- Where’s Everybody Going? Animated Tract
- Wordless Book
The animated tracts were definitely a hit because the pictures look like they move as you slide the striped card back and forth over the image. And each page has a message to share with the kids plus questions to ask to make sure they understand the idea you’re presenting. The Gospel Buttons FlipAbouts were fun and almost like a magic trick. This is what the website lists about these products:
The gospel for children! Share the message of salvation with this captivating tool. With its fascinating folding mechanism, the Gospel Buttons FlipAbout helps you capture and hold a child’s attention as you present the gospel. Folding and unfolding this FlipAbout reveals 4 colored “Buttons”, each with a different image.
The cute silicone bracelets that are always popular were a hit, especially since it includes the color theme that is repeated in several of the other products; yellow, black, red, white and green, each with a different meaning for the kids to remember. Plus, these are a great & portable way for them to take something home or to their friends to explain what we covered!
Each piece in the sampler pack is brightly colored and comes with either instructions or explanations for the adults/teachers. I think these would be a hit not only in traditional “kid’s church” settings but also Vacation Bible School, Summer Camp, or even keeping them in your car in case the opportunity to minister to children arises without notice. The sampler pack from Let the Little Children Come can be purchased through their website and is a great tool to share the gospel with kids.
