Magnesium Survival Fire Starter {Review}

Magnesium Survival Fire Starter Review

Whether you are a prepper, camper or the just in case type of person, the Magnesium Survival Fire Starter is one tool that should be in your stockpile.

I like this unit because it is sturdy enough to really apply pressure when striking. I have broken other types by applying too much pressure so this one gets a thumbs up just for being able to hold up to my use.

This product is waterproof and made to last. I like that it can be used in any weather conditions…. rain or shine! The metal is a Magnesium rod so it creates hot sparks that ignite kindling easily.

Always be prepared for emergencies with the Magnesium Survival Fire Starter. Never get caught with wet matches or empty lighters. Nothing is worse than everything getting wet and being unable to start a fire to dry out. The attached lanyard helps keep the starter in place and ready for action.

The Magnesium Survival Fire Starter can be used for lighting camp fires, stoves, gas-barbecues, and much more!

Instructions:
1. Scrape Off Magnesium Shavings Into a Small Pile.
2. Firmly Hold The Striker Against the Flint at a 30°-45° Angle.
3. Apply Pressure While Sliding the Striker Down the Magnesium Rod, Allowing the Sparks to Land on the Pile.
4. Place Tinder or Paper on the Burning Magnesium Pile and Blow Gently.
5. Once the Tinder Has Ignited, Progressively Add Larger Kindling Until the FIRE Increases!

Of course the best way to be prepared is to practice. Once you use the starter a couple of times you will be a pro at starting fires. Caution and common sense always need to be used as well as fire safety rules.
