Do you have a reluctant reader? How about a reader that can get lost in a book for hours and hours? I am the latter so I have to be careful when I pick up a book that I have some type of timer set.

Most of my children on the other hand are not that blessed. Reading, unless it is a book of their choice is a chore. We have used quiet times, timers and page numbers to keep on track. Timers are the easiest to use and this little digital bookmark is super cool!

The Mark My Time digital bookmark is made out of durable plastic and come in cool neon and bright colors – Blue, Purple, Green, Pink, Yellow and Red. It has a digital clock that can be set as a countdown timer with alarm or as a cumulative timer, which can store up to 100 hours of reading time. We had a recent challenge to see how long it took each of us to read a book. It was fun and I think it helped the girls understand that reading a book shouldn't be viewed as punishment!

This timer would also be great for timed tests, music lessons or keep on track for any meeting or monitored event.
