Microwave Chocolate Chip Cookie

Microwave Chocolate Chip Cookie

Ever just need a little something sweet but don't want or have the time to mix up a batch of chocolate chip cookies? Here is a recipe for ONE COOKIE! Yep, this will make one large cookie. It is enough to share if you really want to or if the smell brings the hubby to the kitchen!

Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Flour
2 Tablespoons Chocolate Chips (or other broken up chocolate candy when desperate)
3 Drops Vanilla
Pinch of Salt
1 Tablespoon melted Butter
1 egg yolk

Directions:
Combine ingredients together and place in microwave safe dish (a gratin dish works great)
Microwave for 40-60 seconds on high (40 for doughy – closer to 60 for chewy)

* Cookie shows signs of quality control check

How awesome is that? I never knew cookies could be that easy. But then again, maybe too easy and bad for my Weight Watchers. lol I’ll save it anyway for when my husband wants his sweets.

This sounds good for those nights I need a little something but I don’t want to be in the kitchen forever.

This would be great for the times when you want a little something sweet but don’t want to end up with a bunch of somethings because it makes it hard not to overeat.

I simply can’t wait to try this! How convenient to do when you have a grandchild in the house who wants and deserves a treat but you have nothing!

Well, guess where my hubby is going – he is on his way to the store to get some chocolate chips. I am going to make this cookie today. I did not know you could bake a cookie in the microwave – awesome. Now I can make one cookie and not overeat like I usually do. Thanks for this great recipe. I have to post this on pinterest.
