Nature’s Flavors Natural Colors Review

Natures Flavors Review

We love to make cookies and bake cakes. My girls and I have taken several classes on decorating cakes and cookies but find the flavors of the dyes..well…not always that tasty. I have tried natural sources but usually the mess is more than I want to work around.

So when I heard about Nature’s Flavors Natural Colors I was more than willing to give them a try.

Green Shortbread Cookies

Product Description:

Nature's Flavors, makers of the highest quality natural flavorings and colorings for baking and cooking has created Natural Colors!  Natural Colors will quickly replace your artificially enhanced food colorings with natural, vegan, gluten free and chemical free colors… the way nature intended for colors to be!  This is a huge innovation for parents with children who have ADHD, are hyperactive, autistic and for those parents who just want their children to be healthy and chemical free.  You will love Nature's Flavors Natural Colors Rainbow Pack in our 100% recycled packaging that contains 5 colors of Natural Cherry Red, Natural Blue, Natural Honeydew Green, Natural Yellow and Natural Pumpkin!  Each color comes in 2 fluid ounces with a color chart to assist in getting just the right shades of each hue.

Using them was easy. We were baking a cookie bar and made a drizzle in each of the colors. The kids were expecting to taste the flavor of the color name…it was too cute watching them try to figure out why they didn’t!

We found the product easy to use and the desired intensity easy to get. One word to the wise, open them the first time over the sink! We had the blue pop a bubble when the bottle was opened and my daughter’s hand and sink looked like we were making smurf candy. Once they are opened the first time, we never had that problem again.

Hey, I’d know those hands and sink anywhere! LOL!

These dyes were definitely fun to play with. I’ve got a couple of ideas to play with a combo of colors for the holidays.

    Thanks!

Im impressed with how vibrant the colors are. I have a hard time achieving that even with “normal” food coloring!

We’re glad to see safer alternatives to some of the food dyes out there.
