One Box One Cause With ooShirts
As a business owner, I know the importance of getting your name in front of potential customers. However, custom orders have, in the past been expensive and difficult to set up on your own. Not any more! ooShirts makes it easy and inexpensive to design custom shirts and other items. Whether you’re ordering one or a thousand shirts, they make it easy and they show you ways you can save money on your order. As a business owner, I can appreciate their company vision:
The core philosophy behind ooShirts is providing high-quality products at very affordable prices. Our prices are the most competitive in the industry and we know that there are very high margins in the printing industry. Our aim is to pass these margins to the customer and work on volume basis.
The target customer for ooShirts is someone like me who is looking for ways to get my business name out in front of potential clients. They are also geared to match up with the needs of Non-Profit groups looking to raise awareness of their cause, Small Businesses that would like to offer t-shirt giveaways or branded apparel, Groups, Clubs and Organizations looking for ways to build team spirit, and Artists that need custom printed designs or niche marketing products.
The items available to have printed include t-shirts to sweats. I will say that ordering is super easy and it only took a couple of minutes for me to complete the entire process to place my order for shirts for the staff here at Simply Sherryl.
The first thing you need to do is decide on which type of shirt or product you would like to have printed. The selection is wide in both sizes and color. There is an easy to follow sizing chart to help make sure the product is available for any of the extended sizes needed.
Once you have selected the type of product you want to set up, start by selecting the color of the item. Just click on any product on the left column and then any color box on the main screen. You will quickly appreciate how interactive their platform in because if you are like me, you will change your mind several times before deciding on the final selection.
Once you have selected your product and the color, you will move on to the design portion. Here you have several options. You can add lettering on the front, back and down the arms (on long sleeve items) and you can use one of their images or you can upload an image from your computer. The click and drag platform makes it easy to get the image or lettering exactly where you want it. Should you try to place it outside the ordering spot, the box will change colors and let you know. I really liked knowing that image I was creating was going to be exactly what was received in the mail. I found it super easy to adjust the size of the uploaded images and to move things around to just where I wanted them to be printed.
I got so excited when I found this pattern in their list of options. And you can color fill in any of the parts by clicking on the color selection box and then where you want that color to be used. I love this heart inside of the tree! It is perfect for my new logo for Simply Sherryl. I can’t wait to get the items ordered in the mail.
Here is the final version. Wasn’t that easy to do? I say easy, but I will be honest that I made more than a couple of changes as I went along. Thankfully, the system kept up with me and all my changes (well maybe there were more than just a couple). I like that any change made in the system is immediately updated on the preview of the product for you to consider. There is no doubt what your products will look like when they arrive at your location or your customers.
Once you get the design set, you can save everything and send a link to others before ordering. I like this option and that I can share my designed product before placing the actual order. If you have a team working on this project or a campaign, this will be a nice way to keep everyone in the loop. Or what about shirts or hoodies for a group or family reunion? Have someone create the template and then everyone can comment on the final product before it gets created.
Here is the back to my new hoodies for the team. Isn’t it perfect for us? I can’t wait for them to arrive.
Completing the ordering is easy too. Once you get the design just as you like it, decide on the sizes and quantities. The system updates immediately with any changes you make to the product that affects the cost.
Think all of this is too much? No worries…there is a link for you to click that will connect you with someone on their team who is more than willing to help you through the design and ordering process.
So while you wait for your order of shirts to arrive, or hoodies in my case; let’s talk about how ooShirts is giving back to the communities all around America. ooShirts started a program that they call “One Box One Cause“. This program is how they donate overruns or slightly off items to those in need. Most of the items are overruns and there is nothing wrong with them. These items are donated to NGO’s (Non Government Organizations – Non Profits). How awesome is that? Are you aware of a ministry or non profit that could use some of the items that the One Box One Cause program has available? I know our local shelter is always looking for hoodies and t-shirts for the families they are trying to help in our community.
Here is the form to reach out to One Box One Cause through their website. Make sure to get in touch with them if you know of an agency that could use their items to help others.
