Paint Your Life – Charcoal Drawing {Review}
I’ve always loved going into people’s homes and seeing pictures of their family displayed on a mantle, or hung on the wall. What I really get a kick out of is the new trend of having pictures put onto canvas or even recreated as a drawing or a painting! And that’s exactly what Paint Your Life does with any picture you send them.
The PaintYourLife Studio was established with the clear objective of creating custom art. Our studio offers high quality handmade paintings, Prints on Canvas, and graphic design services. Most of our clients buy our Artworks to decorate their homes and offices in their own unique style, while other customers use our products as gifts for their loved ones.
How did it all start? In 2006 we began our studio employing several talented portrait painters who crafted handmade oil paintings according to customers’ photos. The mission of the owners was and is, to make quality art available to everyone, a masterpiece of their own choosing at an affordable price. Within a few months, the demand grew and as such, we employed more talented artists. We learned that many of our customers were purchasing our custom paintings as gifts for their friends and families. They were telling us, “I’m fed up with ordinary gifts like flowers, chocolates, scarves, and such. We want something special…something unique… a gift our loved ones will never forget!”
I ordered a picture of one of my grandson’s from his first Easter. How cute is he in that sweater vest?! As a gift for his parents, I submitted the picture to Paint Your Life and reviewed the different options they offer to customers. You can choose from:
- Oil
- Watercolor
- Charcoal
- Pastel
- Pencil
- Acrylic
The process couldn’t be any easier. You select the options you want (I selected the charcoal drawing), the size and if you want it framed, then you upload your picture, and the artist completes your request! It’s all 100% hand drawn or painted and they offer complete satisfaction before your product is shipped.
It was a pretty quick process too. From the time I submitted my order until I was given a review opportunity was just a few days. At the time of your initial order, you pay 20% of the price, then the balance is due once you’re happy with your picture.
These make great gifts, and I love that there are so many choices from the medium the artists will work in to what size I want it or if I want it to come framed. This is perfect for weddings, birthdays, and any other special event.
They also offer custom pet portraits as well! What a great gift for someone special!
