Review: Alphie the Squid for iPad, iPhone, iPod and Android Devices!
I just love games that make the little ones laugh and beg to play again and again. We have been playing one of those games lately and I would like to share it with you. The game is called Alphie the Squid and it is available on itunes, Googleplay and Amazon.
Alphie is a game promoted for children but everyone will enjoy playing it. I like that it is easy enough for little ones to understand and maneuver and yet becomes more challenging as the game progresses. The only reason the little ones needed me was to read the notes of random facts which highlight the differences and interesting tidbits of the sea creatures throughout the game. That alone was interesting for this granma.
So as Alphie the Squid takes off on his mission to become the king of the ocean, he is faced with challenges of gathering fish and maneuvering through little adventures like getting through eels, clams and other super cute characters. He grows larger as he eats more fish and avoids pitfalls and other creatures.
Take a look at the video of the game below:
The game was released by Crystal Entertainment and it has truly awesome graphics and music! The music is from David Ari Leon, who created the sounds for game titles such as Superman, Snoopy Coaster, Contre Jour and Woody Woodpecker!
This is going to be one of those games that the little ones want to play over and over. It certainly makes it worth the investment of $2.99.
Alphie is available on iTunes, Googleplay and Amazon. The game sells for $2.99 but has a limited free version (through level 4) available on Amazon.
If you enjoy the game, make sure to connection with Alphie the Squid on Facebook , Twitter and Google+.
