Review: Creativium – Paper Theater
This iPad game is an interactive application suitable for everyone over the age of 2. I was surprised that this application would actually appeal to all ages. I had as much fun with it as the kids.
It was fun to sit back and watch the children have fun creating a story on their own with the cute sets, funny characters, and tons of decorations. They were able to create a new story every time they played the game! I thought this was great and would mean they would not get tired of playing it!
According to the promotional material:
The applications features are:
— uniquely and beautifully crafted paper sets
— simple kid-friendly interface
— young kids make up their own rules
— pictures are saved in the iPad’s gallery
— 10 fun characters, each with their own colorful personality
— over 40 animations for the game featuring animals
— 25 decorations for the castle to choose from
— cool drag-and-drop app
We found the application to be entertaining for both the children and the adults. The 7 year old daughter enjoyed it as she was able to create pictures using all the different animals. It was interesting to watch her explore by trial and error (learning) since there are no real instructions. The 15 year old thought the sounds were great and had fun making the animals do silly things.
If there was a downside to the application: Both children said that they liked taking pictures, but wished they could type in words to create a story.
Bonus: Future updates will be free for customers and this application does not contain ads and does not include in-app purchases. There is even an email provided to help you should you experience problems!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
