Review: eMeals.com
Do you struggle with creating your dinner menu week after week? Do you plan as you shop the weekly sales? Let me share a secret with you… There is a wonderful service available that can save you time (lots of time), money (always a good thing), stress (like none of us have enough of this) and energy every week. Sound too good to be true?
Have you heard of eMeals.com? They have been the market leader for online meal planning for ten years. Their tag line speaks for itself.. Meal Planning Made Simple! I love simple
Currently there are so many different menu plans including Classic Meals, Clean Eating, Simple Gourmet, Paleo, Low Carb, Low Fat, Portion Control, Natural & Organic, Gluten Free and Vegetarian just to list a few.
I love to cook, don’t get me wrong. But, I also struggle with planning the weekly menu just like everyone else. So when the opportunity was extended for me to try out eMeals.com, I jumped at the chance!
Here’s how it works:
-
Pick Your Plan ~ When you sign up for eMeals, you will pick a meal plan based on your eating style, your family size and even your favorite grocery store.
-
Get Great Recipes ~ Every week, your meal plan arrives in your inbox complete with seven simple, creative, family–friendly dinner recipes. Each includes an entrée and side dishes.
-
Shop and Save ~ Along with the meal plan, you’ll receive a detailed grocery list organized by section and coordinated with the weekly sales at your selected stores.
-
Relax and Enjoy ~ We take care of the meal planning, the grocery list and the budgeting — while you take credit for making healthy, home–cooked meals that your whole family will love.
Once a week you will receive your menu plan for the upcoming week. You can print this out and tape it up for everyone to see. Another bonus… never again hear the dreaded 4PM question.. What’s for dinner?
Using the grocery list provided, you can shop comfortably knowing that you are purchasing the menu items needed and most of them will be on the sales flyer from the store! Added to that, pop online to your favorite store and download the digital coupons to your customer card so print/cut any coupons you have on hand to reduce the savings even more. I like that the list is very detailed.
Want more? You can add lunches and breakfast menus to the list for almost nothing!

I think this is probably a great idea for some families, but I just can’t see myself sticking to it. I think I’m probably a little too spontaneous. If I suddenly think of something I want to eat, then I will just make it on a whim.
Sounds great for a family!! But I wonder if they have plans for singles–I sure could use something like this–I think I will go check it out!
