Review: My Homeschool Grades
Our family lives in Kentucky where thankfully homeschooling is openly accepted. We have very limited requirements and we have fought hard to be able to homeschool freely. That said, we still need to maintain records for transcripts for our children once they enter high school and start preparing for college.
One of the features that caught my attention from My Homeschool Grades was that I can easily create detailed grade reports and transcripts. Once the class information is entered into the software, all I have to do is enter the grades and the software takes it from there.
See this short video to understand how easy it is to create a transcript:
We are in the last three years of homeschooling with our last two daughters in 9th and 10th grades. Colleges are contacting them looking for transcripts and trying to schedule campus visits. In the past, I have created my own grade and transcript reports using MS Excel and while they were functional, they were not professional looking or polished.
My Homeschool Grades is a simple to use tracking service which allows you to add and record data for multiple children. List their subjects and courses as well as the grades they received. If you don’t use a grading scale you can choose to record it as a pass or fail
Another feature is that you can track outside activities such as scouts, volunteer time and work credit. This information will come in handy when filling out those college applications.
All subscriptions now include lifetime membership. Pay one time and keep this service forever. All future updates and enhancements will be included at no extra charge. How is that for support?
You can purchase a lifetime membership for only $49.99 – now that is a fantastic price! Twelve years of record keeping for all your children for less than the cost of one class.
Interested but not ready to purchase? Take advantage of the free 14 day trial and see how it can help you with your record keeping.

Thank you for reviewing this product. If our state doesn’t drop the coming Common Core Standards we will be entering the home school realm. This would be a great tool for record keeping!

We are feeling forced into homeschooling because my son has severe milk and peanut allergies. I’m pretty nervous about being able to stay organized enough to do it. I will definitely keep this in mind. Thank you.
