Simple Pico de Gallo

Simple Pico de Gallo

This is a twist on Pico de Gallo. Some of my crew do not care for cilantro (unreal I know) but I wanted to try making this without it. I think it works!

Simple Pico de Gallo

Ingredients:
1 Tomato, diced
1 Onion, finely chopped
3 stalks with leaves celery, finely chopped
1 orange bell pepper, diced
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 to 1 Lime – juices

Directions:

Mix all items together. Taste… add more salt, pepper or lime as needed.

That's it! I told you it was simple.

Do you have a dish that you modify for your family? Share it below, I would love to try it.

Incredibly simple – would be great as an omelette filling, too. I would also add some minced jalapeno pepper.

I make my Pico de Gallo without cilantro also! I will have to try your recipe too. I modify a lot of meals for my family, it is rare for me to serve the same meal the same way for more than 2 family members at the same time.

oh, yes I hadn’t thought about using it that way! We make breakfast burritos and sometimes they need something fresh on them. This would work for those as well. Thanks for suggesting!
