I’ve been using Vinegar to clean for years… I can’t stand the smell, but it really works on pretty much everything!

I’ve recently tried to switch to more natural cleaners and vinegar is at the top of the list. Now that I literally gallons of it, it’s nice to know all the other things I can use it for! Thanks for sharing.

Wow! Vinegar definitely has a lot of uses, I’ve always used it for cleaning my coffee pot, but there are definitely a lot of other ways.

I use vinegar to clean my coffee machine and I put some vinegar in a bowl of water and boil it in the microwave for 5 minutes and just simply wipe the walls of the microwave. all of the gook from food just comes off.

I love to use vinegar to clean windows and mirrors. If I use newspaper to dry them it seems not to streak either. I didn’t know about the other uses though! Thanks!

Great tips. In real life people act like I’m trying to be a hippy-mama for it. Really it’s just cheaper and the chemicals bother me more than the kids when i use them.

I new vinegar could be used for a lot of different things but I didn’t realize just how versatile it was! I never heard of it reducing bruises or treating cold sores before!

I like others am surprised at how many functional uses for vinegar there might be. While I knew it as a conditioner,I didn’t know it could remove green in hair. Apple Cider Vinegar seems to be the one to check out next time I’m at the store.

More and more I find that ppl are using vinegar to replace a lot of the chemical cleaners and such. I am on that bandwagon. At first the smell was my first thought, but it is amazing how fast it dissipates! Thanks for the link!

Thanks for the great share on uses for vinegar. Now, instead of throwing a shirt into the dryer to get rid of wrinkles, I can use a spray and save on electricity!

I use vinegar for pretty much everything. It’s the ONLY thing that can get cat pee out of furniture. Seriously. I admit it. My cat peed on my brand new sofa. Vinegar and then sun soak + slip cover in the washer, no more pee smell.

I use red apple cider vinegar with lemon peels for cleaning. I marinate the peels for a couple of weeks in the vinegar. It works great! Thanks for sharing these tips. I’m glad I found your blog!

I knew vinegar had many uses but some of these suggestions I didn’t know about. I don’t particularly care for the smell of vinegar and that is the biggest reason I haven’t used it as a cleaner. My daughter swears by it though and says the “scent” goes away quickly.

Love these ideas! I use diluted vinegar to clean things like my cat’s water bowl and my CPAP machine. I need these things to be super sanitary and vinegar cleans all scum and gets them really clean!
