Swim On Swim Cap {Review}
Remember having to wear swim caps in school? Ouch! They not only never worked well , they pulled your hair out and just hurt to put on.
It looks like someone that wears a swim cap actually had a say in the making of swim caps. This has to be the most comfortable cap I have ever worn.
Not only is it easy to put on. It fits tight to your head, sealing as you press it in place which.. gasp.. keeps the water out and your hair dry!
This would also be great to use as a shower cap if you recently had a perm or color and need to keep your hair dry for a couple of days. We all know how the humidity alone in the shower can cause the frizzies to attack.
If you are a lunch time or before work gym rat, especially when traveling…this is the cap you will want in your gym bag. It folds up really small and can slip right into your bag. Enjoy your swim and know that you will be able to shower quickly before your meetings instead of taking time to wash, dry and style your hair again.
A couple of notes about this swim cap:
The first time you open the plastic packaging, there is an unpleasant odor. If you will simply wash the cap in warm soapy water, rinse and allow to dry before using the odor will be gone. I assume it is a reaction between the swim cap and the plastic bag but it is pretty unpleasant.
Next, to aid in putting the cap on quickly and easily, pull your hair up into ponytail. This isn’t a requirement, but it does make putting it on easier. Once you have your hair all tucked in, smooth your hands over the cap pressing out the extra air and seal it along the edges.
This cap has really come in handy for our teen that teaches swim classes at the local club. She is in and out of the water several times a day and by wearing the swim cap she avoids having to wash her hair after each class. She actually has a couple of these in different colors to coordinate with her swim suits.

I think in an effort to try and stay healthy, it is best to try and find an activity you really enjoy and find other people who also enjoy it. Having a friend/accountability partner to exercise with not only makes it more fun, it is also a good source of encouragement and motivation.
