Thomas & Friends: Santa's Little Engine
Recently, we were given the new “Thomas & Friends: Santa's Little Engine (2013)” DVD to watch and review. My son is four years old and we still watch Thomas almost every day! His favorite character is Thomas, but he seems to know a whole bunch about all of the different trains and people that are involved in the episodes.
This DVD includes five different episodes around the Christmas/holiday theme along with two games that the kids can play right on the disc!! We loved watching Thomas save “Santa” (Sir Topham Hatt) in a runaway sleigh. We also learned about being safe in the snow, and how everyone has different skills that make them special!
The movie ran about an hour long, and although my little guy sat still (glued) to the screen, we could have easily broke it up between the different episodes since it wasn't just one long movie. Most of the show was the traditional animation for Thomas & Friends, however, there was some live action story telling from Driver Perkins.
All in all, this was a great DVD for my son and I imagine any Thomas & Friends fan would love to see the newest DVD to be released just in time for the upcoming holiday season!
