Hate how dry and dusty the indoor air can feel when you run your heater through the winter? I do! But I’m running using my Venta AirWasher scented oils in my unit so not only is the air cleaner and has more humidity, but it also smells pleasant too!

I reviewed my Venta AirWasher last summer and I’m still using it, especially now more than ever in the winter, when the air gets so dry and we can’t open the windows due to the cold weather outside. It works like a silent champ, helping to keep the dust and allergens down while we try to keep the house warm without drying out our sinuses.

• Refreshing: A spicy and citrus blend of scents, great to run for a change of pace or when you have a busy house.
• Eucalyptus: This scent blends eucalyptus, peppermint, and tea together. A must have for anyone suffering from congestion, coughing, or dry sinuses.

I like that I can not only keep my home comfortable during the winter but also smelling nice, without always having to use another device like a candle, plug-in air freshener or oil diffuser. Don’t get me wrong, I still use them all from time to time, but using the scented oils in my Venta AirWasher is great for the whole house!

To use them, I add a capful or two to the tank and you can smell them instantly! You may want to add more or less, depending on the size of the AirWasher and how large your home may be. For a light, lingering scent, I’ll add a single capful at a time, then go back and add another in the afternoon.

This is also nice to help refresh the air when the family pets have been out all day and now company is coming over. It adds a little something without being overbearing. Plus the scented oils come in 6 different scent choices, so you can mix and match according to your mood or preference!
