White Chocolate Sauce

White Chocolate Sauce

White Chocolate Sauce

Who needs an excuse to top any dessert with chocolate? Not me! This White Chocolate Sauce is simply amazing.

Ingredients:
3 ounces half and half or heavy whipping cream
1 bag white chocolate baking chips (12 ounces)

Directions:

Place cream in small pan and heat on low just until it starts to bubble (don’t boil it).
Remove pan from burner and pour in the chocolate chips
Whisk until chips are melted and mixture is smooth
Serve over..anything!

Store in air tight container for up to four days. If you need to reheat, use a double boiler or microwave for 10 seconds at a time until warm.

This looks so good. It would be good on cream brulee or ice cream. Or a spoon.

Hmm, people say that dark chocolate is healthier etc. I personally have always loved milk and white ones more. So I think my mom’s gonna give this sauce a try 😀 Because I really can’t make anything in kitchen 😀 My mom is real culinary genius but I don’t have those genes nor talent.
Now all that’s left is to think of the main dessert which would be good with this sauce.

This sounds easy to make. I like the idea how you can use it on a lot of different kinds of dessert. Cake, cupcake, cookies, ice cream, shortbread, croissant, muffins.

This looks so easy and delicious. Could you give me some examples of what I could put this on? Do you think just a simple pound cake or maybe some banana nut bread would be good with this on it?

Hmm, well I thought I left a comment here. Maybe it’s delayed. Anyway, this is a simple way to dress up a dessert. I usually add colored sprinkles to the white topping too.
