Cedar Point Goes Blue for Autism Awareness
Today is World Autism Awareness Day and posts are being shared about local events supporting an honoring this awareness campaign. Knowing that Cedar Point is participating, we wanted to share their press release with everyone.
In honor of today being World Autism Awareness Day – April 2, Cedar Point will turn the lights blue on the GateKeeper and Millennium Force roller coasters and the Power Tower thrill ride as a part of the Autism Speaks worldwide “Light It Up Blue” campaign.
This global awareness campaign was adopted by the United Nations in 2007 to help shine a bright light on autism as a growing global health crisis.
Cedar Point continues its preparations for the upcoming season, which begins on Saturday, May 9.
