10 Minute Pressure Cooker Pot Roast

Have you tried canned meat lately? Let's be honest here, I was a bit skeptical when I was asked to give Keystone Beef a try in a couple of recipes. And while we are being honest, I will admit that I did NOT tell my crew that the meat came fully cooked in a can. So? What were the results?

If you haven't tried canned meat in a while, let me suggest trying Keystone Meats. Keystone also offers tons of recipes for you to try when using their products.

10 Minute Pressure Cooker Pot Roast

I used the canned beef to make 10 Minute Pressure Cooker Pot Roast in my Instant Pot. I love mine and if you haven't gotten on the Pressure Cooker wagon – you are missing out on fast and delicious meals.

For this dish, I made Pot Roast in both my pressure cooker and in my oven. You can find the recipe for the oven and slow cooker versions here.

Ingredients:
1 can Keystone Beef
1 box or 2 cans of vegetable or beef broth (I prefer veg broth but your choice)
1 bag of baby carrots
1 chopped onion
6-8 small potatoes – cut in half or quartered if larger potatoes are used
2-3 stalks of celery – chopped
5-6 Sweet Peppers (or use 1-2 bell peppers if you prefer)
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Place all ingredients in the pressure cooker
Stir gently to combine
Lock lid and set release value to pressure (towards the back on most units)
Set time to 10 minutes on manual or meat setting
When cook time is over, allow to naturally release for 15 minutes before releasing the pressure to open

Guess what? My crew loved it! They had no complaints about the texture and flavors. The older crew members were surprised that the meat was canned, but even they agree that Keystone does a great job and were happy for me to use it in the future. Thumbs up from the Wilson crew!
