Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

Blueberry Smoothie RecipeWyman's frozen blueberries are now available in a store near me! Woohoo!!!  We requested them for months before the local Kroger store started carrying them. They are the sweetest blueberries around. My first choice for frozen fruit in smoothies.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Wyman's of Maine Fresh Frozen Wild Blueberries (You can use fresh but Wyman's makes it easy!)
1/2 banana
1/2 cup Yogurt (any flavor – I like the vanilla with honey)
1/2 cup juice of choice (any type)
Optional: Splenda, honey or sweetener if desired

Also consider adding a scoop of your favorite protein powder to increase the nutritional value of your smoothie.

Directions:
Place all the items in your blender or smoothie machine and let it rip! It really doesn't get any easier. Enjoy!

I love blueberries. I have never had a smoothie but this recipe sounds easy and delicious. I will definitely try this smoothie recipe.

This looks as though it is an excellent way to end summer. I am having a blueberry smoothie with this recipe tonight.
