Capped Bugle Treats

Capped Bugle Treats

Capped Bugle Treats

If you are a salty – sweet snacker you will love this simple snack. My little ones have always loved Bugles but when you add on the chocolate and then the M&M…woohooo.. what a treat!

Capped Bugle Treats

Ingredients:

Bugles – buy the larger bag since some will be broken, some will not have large enough opening for M&M – and well, honestly, a large portion will be eaten if you have little helpers.

M&M candies – Red and Green (you can pickup the Christmas colored ones or just pick out the Red and Green for these) If for Easter – pick out other colors

White almond bark – or Candy chocolate melts. We used bark this time and had to work really fast! Teamwork is great – you dip in chocolate and the little ones add the M&M candy.

Dip open end of bugle into melted chocolate

Slip M&M into opening

Place on a plate until ready to eat!

These really are simple to make. To mix it up, try piping the chocolate inside the bugle before adding the M&M candy. This gives you a bigger snack bite and the chocolate balances the salt from the bugles a little better.

I feel like my boyfriend would love these just as much as my daughter. And there’s endless possibilities with this.

These are a really cute idea for a kids treat.(big kids too)I think I’ll try to make these with my granddaughters this week-end. I think instead of trying to work quickly with the melted chocolate you could probably use some icing.

These look like a quick and easy, but tasty treat. M&M’s are one of my favorites and chocolate is always welcome. Never tried the Bugles, but looks good especially combined with chocolate and M&M’s. Thanks for the idea.
