Caramel Coffee Frappe

Caramel Coffee Frappe

Caramel Coffee Frappe

Do you like frozen coffee drinks? Me too but I don’t like the price at the local coffee house. This is the latest treat we are making at home. We make this with Splenda and Sugar Free Syrups for a lower calorie beverage.

Ingredients:
2 cups ice cubes
1½ cups coffee, cold
½ cup 2% or whole milk
¼ cup Splenda (or sugar)
2 Tablespoons caramel syrup
1 Teaspoon vanilla syrup or extract
1 Teaspoon chocolate syrup
¼ Teaspoon salt

Caramel Coffee Frappe

Instructions:
1. Combine everything but the ice and pulse several times to blend (20 seconds)
2. Add ice and blend on high speed until the drink is smooth and creamy (30-40 seconds)

Enjoy!

I have to try this. It sounds delicious! When you say caramel syrup, is it ice cream topping?

I like using Splenda because it has a good flavor. I like your recipe for Caramel Frapp! Caramel is my favorite flavor to have in hot or cold coffee!

Love all the pictures! I need a blender with a spout on it like that! What a great idea! I just have the boring cheap traditional blender. lol. Your recipe sounds easy to do and extremely tasty! We’ll have to give it a try!

I recently discovered I like frappes by accident. Had ordered a latte at the McDonalds drive-thru but they gave me a frappe by accident. I told them I would take a sip in case I liked it and wouldn’t have to wait on the latte. It was so delicious — it was a happy accident. Thanks for sharing how to make them at home.

Did you use the store bought vanilla or your home-made stuff?

I love Frappes & agree with you they are too expensive or loaded with sugar. Thank you for an alternative.

Yum, this looks very good. I like making things at home rather than going out and paying a fortune for them somewhere else.
