Downy Ball {Review}
Laundry is a dirty word in my house. It’s not so bad now that most of the kids have moved out, but with two teenage daughters still living at home, we always have laundry. So I like to find any way I can to cut down on the time and mess of washing & drying clothes. Take the Downy Ball for instance; I don’t have to worry about measuring, pouring and diluting my fabric softener anymore.
No more waiting for the rinse cycle. No more cleaning out your dispenser. With the Downy Ball, fabric softener is automatically released during the rinse cycle. All you have to do to enjoy the convenience of our Downy Ball is pour the Downy fabric softener of your choice up to the right fill line in your Downy bottle cap and pour into the ball, seal it, and drop it in at the start of the wash on top of your fabrics. Feel more at ease.
This little guy is great to keep on hand in our laundry room. You fill it with your fabric softener (there are different lines for different load sizes if you don’t always wash large loads like we do), pull the ring on the top to engage the rubber stopper, then toss on top of your clothes as the water is filling up.
That’s it! The spinning action of the washing machine causes the stopper to release and the fabric softener then is added to the wash water at the right time. You don’t need to dilute it because it mixed with the water and won’t stain your clothes.
Now, this isn’t made for a front loading machine, only the traditional top loaders. But you can still use other Downy products to get your clothes as clean and ready to be worn again!
You can buy your own Downy Ball at Amazon, in a single or as a 3-pack.

I love my Downy ball, and it mzkes going to the laundry room of my apartment complex a breeze. I no longer carry bottles, and because I use Tide pods. Consequently, things are pretty brainless, on laundry days, as a retiree, lugging nothing but my laundry bags, and a couple of conveniences, are quite welcomed!
