Save Money on Travel and Activities with Hotels Etc
While traveling is exciting, it isn't cheap. Finding ways to save money on travel and activities is important to me. I spend a great deal of time researching rates and options before booking anything. Hotels Etc takes a great deal of time and effort off my list. I am excited to share my thoughts on this members travel site.

Also one cannot forget shopping at all, since we know women love shopping wherever they go. Along with all this, significant discounts on recreation like camping, hiking, fishing, scuba diving, site seeing, tickets, sports and much more.
Not only this, we have services for business owners as well. We assure you with huge profits and benefits. All you have to do is add your business to our network and we will market your business to our members. Our success is based on the promise we keep! Only requirement for your business to be listed is to offer our members a discount not available to the general public.
Our goal is to save your hard earn money and at the same time enjoy what life has to offer. We know the hardships you go through, working day and night, so your smile in the end of a tiring month is our source of satisfaction.
The team at our corporate office works continuously to improve our discount program, spending countless hours negotiating with business owners around the globe to participate in the Hotels Etc. discount network. We are always adding new categories and discounts to help our members save money. Once a deal is negotiated and approved, our quality control department confirms the validity and includes it in our member directory.
My Thoughts:
I had noticed over the last year or so that prices on third party booking sites were not as wide a range as they used to be but I didn't know why.
Now I know that this was because of rate parity. Okay, I know you are thinking; what is rate parity and why do I care about it? Well, rate parity the agreement between a hotel and the online travel agents (third party sites) that require the same rates for the same room on all the distribution channels. Because this also includes the hotel's website, the hotel has to have the same price for a room, no matter where the client books it and no matter the commission the hotel pays to the online travel agent.
Well that doesn't help me find the best deal on travel and activities. But not one to give up easily..because I LOVE to travel; I dug a little deeper into this “rate parity” issue. What I found was that there were and still are awesome discounts available on travel and activities!
In order to save the most on travel and activities, you need to look at the travel membership clubs like Hotels Etc. They are a private membership club that offers some of the best travel, entertainment and recreational discounts.
As a user, I found their system to be easy to navigate and narrow down the discounts and deals to just what fits my budget.

Pretty exciting isn't it? Joining Hotels Etc is worth the membership fee. Just a couple of nights could recoup your membership and then the savings are kept in your pocket!
Once you have logged in, the main page has boxes with different types of searches like hotels, activities, etc.
It also has an area with a few popular locations that might be of interest.
After selecting hotels, you will see several search engines. Right now, each of these search engines are a different provider of rooms. These search engines will soon be combined but for now, it is worth the few minutes to go through each one to make sure you get the best deal.
Our favorite location for vacation is Daytona Beach, Florida. It is on the coast and within an hour or so of lots of family and activities. We use a condo there as a base location, and go in and out as needed between overnight activities. For me, I just want to sit on the pool deck and relax. The kids enjoy the beach and the pool!
My first search on Hotels Etc was for our favorite vacation spot. If booking through the hotel directly, a week in the condo we normally book would be $1,775.90.
The same reservation through Hotels Etc for the same dates, size, and refund policy would be $1,256.00
The difference for just this one trip is $519.90!
If you travel more than a couple of days a year, you need to check out Hotels Etc membership program. Why spend more than you have to on travel and activities? Use that savings and take a few more trips each year.

I’m not sure what site the EA at work uses, but she seriously finds AirBnB’s in FL, AZ and even Brazil she found somewhere super cheap to stay and all these nice warm places for like literally $30-50 per night?!!! It’s crazy!

i use my triple a and i do get a great discount they hlep with travle ticket and then the hotel i would pay only average 24 to 26 a night
Articles like this that make it easier to do the things we want, allowing others to sort out all the details and letting us know the best places to stay, the most bang for your buck, well, I dont know how I would ever have the time or patience to plan a trip without their assistance
