Super Stocking Stuffer Blog Hop
Have you started shopping yet? I am about midway in my planning and hope to have it all completed by the beginning of December. The only thing I wait until the last minute on seems to be stocking stuffers. If I get them too soon either I can’t find them or I end up letting the little ones play with the stuff…so I wait!

My best tip for staying warm on a chilly night is to curl up with a warm blanket and sip hot tea!
My favorite way to stay warm on a cold Michigan winter night is to snuggle as snug as a bug in a rug under cozy wozy blankets with my soulmate/bff/love of my life, husband Todd and our purr purr princess cat Cherish who loves cuddling as much as we do.
I like to wear a pair of leggings under my clothes for extra warmth.
Sit in a rocking chair in front of the fire.
A Soy Candle that smells like Old Books sounds interesting.
We use an electric blanket to warm up the bed before we hit the sheets!
Another way to stay warm is using the fireplace. I love to sit close and watch the fire while sipping a port or maybe a hot toddy.

I like to tuck in family member’s favorite candy bars–full size ones–besides more healthy goodies, like roasted nuts, dried fruit (like apricots!), and a big orange or a giant apple. (Santa always put a huge piece of fruit in the “toe” of my stocking as a kid.)

I love getting new socks in my stocking, I remember as a kid I thought it sucked, man was I wrong.
Socking stuffer ideas I use are little things they need like chapstick, toothpaste, charms for bracelets, or little gadgets toys they will use, things like that. I also add an apple, orange, and a chocolate santa.
I think chocolate and gift cards make great stocking stuffers.
I create a dozen stockings each Christmas, love doing it. Each has candy, a small stuffed animal, candy cane (These I put at the top so they peek out). It changes as to the items inside…small toys, girlie things, whatever I think will please the recipient. It is so much fun finding things that will make my family and friends smile. 🙂 Thank you.
