Being the mom of 7 kids, and 5 of those being girls (and 2 of them still teenagers), I can attest to the drama and emotionally challenging years of teen girls. Not that boys don’t have issues, but girls have their own that can then impact the rest of their lives. That’s why the book, 10 Ultimate Truths Girls Should Know, is a great book to share with young girls before they run into these troubles.

Within each chapter is usually a story or example situation, Scripture quotes, encouragement and questions to be answered before moving forward. It’s also written in an easy to understand way, which is perfect since it’s target readers are ages 12-16. 

The topics cover areas such as body image, peer pressure, boys, girl friends and more. It’s a great starting point to cover most of the bases, and you can always work with your daughter if she struggles in one area over another. 

This would be a great book for a pre-teen/young teen girl youth group to work on together!
