Spinach was one of those vegetables that I didn’t not learn to appreciate until I was an adult. The only way I remember it as a child was from a can and it was awful! Somewhere along the line, I had a spinach bacon salad and that was a game changer for me. Now I eat spinach almost every day whether in a salad, casserole, soup, or smoothie.

Growing up my siblings & I only knew the word spinach from Popeye cartoons. I only discovered creamed spinach with onions in later years. Now I love raw spinach in my salads, on pizza, & in quiches. These recipes look great & will have to try some of them. Thanks for sharing!

I hated spinach growing up too! I always wondered how Popeye was able to choke down that icky canned gloom. Now I enjoy it fresh daily – handful in my morning smoothie, in place of lettuce on a sandwich for lunch or in a salad for dinner. Thank you for sharing more delicious ways to enjoy my favorite veggie.
I never cared for spinach as a child growing up, that canned stuff was awful. When I started eating healthier I added a lot of salads to my diet. Spinach has become one of the main ingredients after mixed greens. Thank you for all the wonderful recipes for spinach, hoping I can add more of these to my diet. 🙂
