Apple Cranberry Dump Cake

OK… so on presentation this was an EPIC FAIL…. but on taste… Oh my!!

This type of cake is so easy to make. You basically take 2 cans of any pie filling you like (same or mix matched), dump cake on top and cover with butter. Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Check with toothpick to see if done, bake until done or browned.

Apple / Cranberry Dump Cake

1 can apple pie filling
1 can whole cranberry
1.5 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 yellow box cake mix
1/2 cup nuts of choice (optional)
2 sticks butter (Yes 2 sticks, sliced really thin)

In a 9 x 13 inch baking pan (ungreased); Dump both cans of apple pie filling and cranberries.

Sprinkle with Cinnamon. Dump yellow cake mix on top of pie filling (do not stir or mix together – gently shake cake out over entire pan). Sprinkle with nuts. Place pats of butter evenly on top of cake mix. Place in a preheated 350 degree oven for 50 minutes or longer for desired coloring.
