Are You Feeling Lucky?
Do you know what the best part of Lucky Charms™ cereal is? The marshmallows of course! I remember when my kids were younger that most of them would pick through the cereal mix to eat the marshmallows first. So, Are You Feeling Lucky?
When you have a family with seven school age children, breakfast time can be frantic! Everyone is scrambling to get up, dressed, backpacks ready and out the door, plus they want to be fed! While personal preferences might vary from child to child, they would almost always agree on Lucky Charms for their cereal of choice (thank you General Mills for making family size boxes).
Now, how they are eaten is a different tale altogether. Some of my children wanted them in a bowl, with milk, pretty straight forward. Others wanted it in a bowl, but with a cup of milk or juice on the side. And if we are running super late, then in a plastic bag to be eaten on the way to the bus stop it is!
As an adult, I still enjoy the Lucky Charms cereal, and in several baking projects, I just needed the marshmallows. We’ve also used the marshmallow only Lucky Charms pieces for preschool activities like sorting and math questions.
Tell me in the comments below if your family eats Lucky Charms cereal as a meal or as a snack!
