Today I would like to discuss.. Cracking Elbows.

I have the roughest elbows around. Perhaps it is because I sit at a desk most of the time and find myself leaning my elbows on the desktop a lot or maybe I am just getting old. Either way, suffering from dry, cracked elbows isn’t fun.. not to mention not attractive.

I’ve tried various lotions, creams and even once a special mixture that someone made for me that was guaranteed to repair my ugly elbows. Nope.. Nada.. Told ya I had ugly elbows!

So, recently I was asked to give another product a try. I received a jar of Beejuvenate Rosemary and Mint skin and body cream. This product is an all-natural cream made from the finest oils and butters.  Beeswax is the primary ingredient and it claims to be specially formulated to keep your skin moist and soft.

I was surprised to learn that Beejuvenate doesn’t use alcohols, which is great because when my elbows are cracked other creams have burned when applying. Also, the directions are spot on when they state a little dab will do it. It doesn’t take much to get a nice layer of coverage on the affected areas.

The ingredients are all natural: Beeswax, Safflower, Coconut, Grape Seed, Kukui, Emu, Macadamia, Coca Butter, Avocado, Shea Butter

According to the packaging, the following uses are great this product:

Prevent stretch marks during pregnancy
Heal dry, cracked heels
Heal children’s eczema
Moisturizes tattoos
Contractors use it to prevent and heal cracked finger tips
Heal dry, itchy skin everywhere
heal chaffing overnight
Heal a sun burn
Great on tanning burns
Stop beard itch

I have found it best to apply at night, because as I stated I have the habit of leaning on my desk while working. When I apply the cream in the evenings, it has time to absorb before morning.

So far it seems to be working great. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks but my elbows are no longer cracking and the area seems to be healing nicely.

Beejuvenate also has a lip balm line that I can’t wait to try this winter.
