I am an avid believer in the health properties of raw honey. I used to suffer from allergies (so did my two youngest) when we moved from Florida to Kentucky. One of the physicians we were visiting told me to start taking one to two tablespoons of local raw honey everyday.

Within a month I didn't need my allergy medicines at all. Now I take one spoonful each morning and love that it handles my issues. Of course there are so many other uses for honey, including baking, blending with butter for a wonderful spread, and even applying to scraps or burns.
